The Montage is one of our favorite places to grab a quick drink after an event in the Hollywood area. Recently, after a Saturday night at the Broad Museum, we stopped in to enjoy some jumping live music. With their vintage Hollywood look and touch of modern elegance, this place can keep the party going at any time of the day or night.
Located right in the Golden Triangle of beautiful Beverly Hills, the Montage has over 200 rooms and 55 suites. The spa covers 20,000 square feet and is located on two floors. You can enjoy a simple mineral bath here or even have a two-therapist massage performed by some of the top masseuses around. The Garden Bar is one of the best places to kick back and relax. Great for catching up on all of the week’s events with friends or just have an intimate moment with your significant other.
The building is Spanish Colonial with fountains, and a beautiful green garden topped off with a terra-cotta roof to revive that Spanish ambiance. There are also poolside cabanas and one of the best rooftop views around the area to relax in. Frank Bowling said, “As part of the Montage culture, the offering of several exquisite dining options within the hotel is something that we thought our guests would appreciate by giving them choices of fine dining overlooking our gardens or staying in their suites enjoying gourmet comfort food.” Geoffrey Zakarian has also made his Los Angeles debut here with his new restaurant, the “Georgie”.
